1. General Shipping Information
Carriers and Method
All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail to ensure fast and reliable delivery across the United States. Our products are packaged to maintain freshness during transit.
Shipping Zones
We currently ship to all 50 states within the United States. We do not currently offer international shipping.
Shipping Rates and Fees
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the following factors:
Shipping Destination: The customer’s delivery address.
Product Weight and Dimensions: Our products require accurate weight and dimensions for carrier-calculated rates.
Fulfillment Type: Rates will vary based on whether the order is placed as a standard order or through a batch-shipped fundraiser.
2. Standard Orders
This section applies to all general purchases made outside of a defined fundraiser period.
Processing Time
Standard orders are typically processed within 3 to 5 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays). Processing time is the time it takes to freshly pop, package, and prepare your order for shipment.
Transit Time
Once shipped, transit time is typically 2 to 4 business days for USPS Priority Mail, depending on the destination. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order leaves our facility.
Maximum Lead Time
The maximum estimated time from order placement to final delivery for a standard order is approximately 9 business days.
3. Fundraiser and Group Orders (Batch Shipping)
This section applies exclusively to orders placed during a designated organizational fundraising period.
Purpose
To ensure maximum freshness and centralized fulfillment, all fundraiser orders are popped and shipped as a single batch after the fundraising window closes.
Fulfillment Timeline
Fundraiser Duration: The organization determines the official start and end dates (typically a 2-week period).
Popping and Packaging: After the fundraiser end date, we require approximately 2 business days to freshly pop, package, and prepare the entire bulk order for shipment (as noted in our Terms of Service).
Ship Date: All orders will be transferred to the carrier on the designated ship date (approximately 2 business days after the fundraiser concludes).
Delivery: Customers will receive a tracking number on the ship date. Delivery is expected within 2 to 4 business days from the ship date.
4. Address Accuracy and Delivery Responsibility
A. Customer Responsibility
The customer is solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
B. Undeliverable/Returned Packages
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address:
We will contact you to obtain a correct address.
You will be responsible for paying the cost of the new shipping label to resend the package.
Due to the perishable nature of the product, we cannot offer a refund if the customer chooses not to pay for reshipment.
C. Delivery Issues (Damage, Theft, or Delay)
Damaged or Incorrect Orders: If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please refer to Section 5.B of our Terms of Service and contact us within 48 hours with photographic proof of the damage.
Lost/Stolen Packages: Once tracking indicates the package has been delivered to the provided address, Coastal Crunch Kettle Corn is no longer responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please contact the carrier (USPS/UPS) directly to file a claim.
